Sam splits his time between Leyton & LA

The son of an English Professor he is named after the playwright Samuel Beckett. Sam graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009, and has directed promos for the likes of Chaka Khan, The Weeknd, Run The Jewels and DJ Shadow.

His work has screened at film festivals across the world including SXSW, Cannes, Camerimage and the BFI future film festival and his #WeThe15 film championing inclusivity screened at Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Opening Ceremony.

Known for capturing unique moments on camera, Sam’s music video and commercial work has earned him an indelible reputation as a filmmaker.
